One of the gems in Waitrose’s ‘Loved and Found’ collection. I love the very name, and it’s easy to remember. Zibibbo is the grape with a long history, related to the aromatic Muscat of Alexandria, dating back to Ancient Egypt. Sicily is the place it’s grown. Crystal clear pale lemon in colour, it’s a gorgeous white for this time of year, full of floral, aromatic scents of honeysuckle and lemon balm. Crisp, and bright, with a zesty vibrancy, with hints of ripe nectarine and acacia honey. Delicious with fresh summer, and thai inspired salads, simply grilled fish with lemon and herbs, and gently spiced lemongrass and ginger chicken.
