Super fresh, and inviting in its juicy freshness, this little gem, discovered by the clever buyers at Waitrose is jam-packed with flavour – quite perfumed, with exotic notes of wild flowers and jasmine, it also has hints of dried lemon peel; on the palate, bright and crisp, with ripe peachy fruit, enhanced by a whack of zesty acidity, and an almost salty tang.
Another white to partner perfectly with the freshest of seafood, or delicate prawn and lemongrass Vietnamese rolls, with enough florality to cope with spicy Thai prawns and mild coconut-based fish curries.
