Eye catching label, and certainly eye-catching price, simply one of the best value Albarinos on the shelves. It’s a grape variety best known for thriving in the cool, coastal areas of northern Spain, but surprisingly this wine is from a little-known area in Rioja, Valles de Sadacia, known for its fresh, bright whites. It’s a cracker – loads of mouth-watering, ripe pear and nectarine fruit – succulent, totally delicious at a bargain price – seafood, tapas, fish pie, paella, it’s made for them.
