Without a doubt my bargain of the month, and probably last month’s overall bargain too. Outstanding value – a stunning little Bordeaux, snapped up by Majestic; vibrant in colour, silky and soft, with loads of fresh, juicy fruit, a sprinkle of warm spice, and subtle oaky touches. Perfect Autumn and winter red – roast lamb, roast beef, stews, midweek pies – just grab it and enjoy; great Christmas party wine as well. It’ll be on my list.
