It’s not too late to pick up a great value pink fizz for Valentines day; I can’t guarantee this will still be in all stores, but I picked it up for £9.99 very recently.
A gentle, peachy-hued sparkler, from the Loire valley, made from one of my favourite grapes, the raspberry-scented Cabernet Franc. Ethereal and pretty in colour, aroma and taste, it has an entrancing delicacy, with crunchy redcurrant and rosehip flavours. Crisp, and soft, the perfect aperitif.
